Swimming is offered in the Winter season to any student in grades 9-12. The winter season starts around Thanksgiving and runs through early March. Swimmers practice at the YMCA in Elizabethville. Transportation is provided to the YMCA for practice but not back to Halifax High School.

Girls

Halifax sponsors a girls swimming team. The girls compete as a team in both individual and relay events. 

Boys

Halifax sponsors a boys swimming team. The boys compete as a team in both individual and relay events.
