HASD met with our paving contractor this morning. They provided us with a schedule for their work at the Elementary School and on School Road/Wind Hill Road.
Work will start tomorrow in the rear of the Elementary School and will include Wind Hill Road which runs past Halifax Community Church. The contractor will post road closed signs when work begins.
Access to Halifax Community Chuch should not impact religious services. Access to Peters Mountain Road and the HS/MS from town (through school property) will be limited during the project.
The HS/MS parking lots are open for school and community events.
