AFTERNOON TRANSPORTATION DELAYS
Hello families,
HASD is forced to combine some transportation routes today due to a driver shortage.
Please see the routes and stops most impacted below.
Afternoon Elementary Transportation
All of Routes 1 (Bear), 2 (Bird), 5 (Fish), 6 (Frog), and 9 (Rabbit) should expect delays from 0 to 15 minutes on all stops.
Afternoon Secondary Transportation
All of Routes 2, 3, and 9 should expect delays from 0 to 15 minutes on all stops.
Thank you in advance for your patience with the daily bus changes, as these are out of the control of the District. The District is currently working with Rohrer Transportation to rectify this situation.

Tri-Valley League Champions! The Halifax Boys Basketball team remained undefeated in the league (15-0), by defeating Greenwood in the TVL Championship game Wednesday night by a score of 54-45. Congratulations to the team! WHAT'S NEXT? #1 Boys Basketball will host #4 Steelton Highspire High School in the District III 2A Semifinals on Friday February 23rd at 7:00pm here in Halifax. Go WILDCATS!
The School Board Executive Session and School Board Meeting scheduled for this evening have been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
The School Board Executive Session will begin at 7:00pm on 2/20/24 and the Public School Board Meeting will begin at 7:30pm on 2/20/24.
If students have difficulty connecting to complete attendance verification and classwork due to power outages, they should inform the office and teachers upon return.
